Gracie Barra gym in Orleans is the real deal. This branch is conveniantly located just off Jean D’arc and St. Joseph. Very welcoming crew and staff. They offer some of the best training available in Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai. They are fully equipped and also have a fitness center, and a boxing ring all located inside. After training they do have a smoothie Bar equipped with protein and many different types of dairy products to choose from no matter what type of diet your on. Membership fees here are some of the best rates in the city and trust me I have looked around.

An incredible blend of kindness discipline and safety required for kids classes mixed with the blood, guts and determination needed for the competition team evenly distributed to all age groups and skill levels. I have been active with this school since signing up for the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program when it opened. I have now recently started taking private classes with Professor Pat Lavigne. Having had private lessons in the past I can say that I have never had a bad private lesson, Professors Pat’s however are by far the most technical, efficient, fun and effective lessons I have ever had. There is not enough time or words to express the gratitude I have for Derek and Pat. Thank you!

Whether you’ve been practicing for a while or it’s your first class, the curriculum implemented here will truly help you hone your skills and grow. This wonderful curriculum combined with Pat’s genuine dedication to his students makes this place the best martial arts school around. Oh, and the facilities! Smoothies and espressos made to order, a sauna, ice baths, showers framed out of nice wood (bamboo?). It’s like having access to a fancy spa right after you finish training. Words can’t do this amazing place justice. You really need to come try it out!

Best bjj and muay thai gym in orleans. Family friendly with amazing instructors, it’s by far the best place to train your kids to be disciplined and to defend themselves.

This gym is so welcoming, all the staff are so informative and really take the time to make sure you are happy and get the best experience. Any concerns or questions I’ve had are answered quickly and with all the information I need. They made sure I had the right package suited for me and I can say with confidence I highly recommend this gym for anyone wanting to get into Muay Thai or BJJ whether beginner or advanced.
